i'm going shopping tomorrow with my best friends we were supposed to be buying uni shit but we all went out and bought it separately so we're just kind of going shopping but it's okay i want to buy the sims 3 supernatural (eeeee!) and the hunger games dvd and i might unnecessarily buy some clothes too even though i don't need any new ones and i might buy a book and some high heels because i literally have nothing else i need to spend this money on

so i'm going to come home tomorrow with a hoard of crap :)

we got up a little late the next day and then went around edinburgh got something to eat one of my friends felt a little ill so she went back to the hotel by herself and we went on to the castle but we didn't fancy paying the £16 entrance fee so we took some pictures and then left

we went into this optical illusions museum and we didn't mind paying £10.95 for the entrance fee haha, we had this show thing at first where they showed you the camera obscura in the roof which was interesting but the rest of the musuem was better they had a maze of mirrors which was cool and loads of like little tricky things it was fun

we also went in some shops on the high street and bought some souvenirs then we went back to the hotel to kill some time before the ghost tour one of us suggested we went to nandos so we did the service was very quick so we went for a drink in frankensteins before heading over to the meeting point for the ghost tour

the ghost tour only lasted an hour but it was pretty good the first bit was more like a history tour which was interesting but then we went into the vaults which was creepy they were so dark and the floor was so uneven and then the guide started to tell the stories about the ghosts in the vaults but overall it was quite good the guide was quite fun :)

back at the hotel we finished off the alcohol we bought the other day and then went to bed..the next day we just went home haha there wasn't much interesting about the journey home it was more boring than the journey there haha but i guess we were just fed up of each other by then

today i went to an antiques fair with my two brothers and sister in law (plus her mother sister and her sister's husband)

we and my oldest brother had to get up at 8 because the other brother was picking us up at 9, so i had a really early start today and i'm tired now haha then we drove to the antiques fair

it was being held in a football stadium, and it was packed full of stores selling all sorts i'm not convinced they were all antiques or make that absolutely certain they weren't antiques haha but i didn't mind so much i like things like that anyway

the only problem were the serious collectors who take things very seriously and are intimidating with their in depth knowledge of what you're buying..that put me on edge a little i felt like i should try haggling when i bought things but there was no point really i don't regret spending what i did

i bought a notebook from paperchase on saturday it cost me £10 but it was so pretty and it has birds on the front and birdcages and it's blue and pink and yellow and i really like it i nearly bought one that had hand stitched bunting on the front but i thought hey i can always get that another time

i wanted it to write notes for a story i'm dreaming up in my head..it's coming to me in bits and pieces and i'm not forcing it i'm just letting it all come naturally and making notes when they come to me and i'm not being too fussy about the presentation because after all no one is going to see it but me

hopefully it will come to something..i mean i'm pretty excited about it atm because the ideas i'm coming up with are very interesting to me and combine a lot of things i like, it's not something i'd post online though..just something for me haha

had a good day went shopping with my friends way too early got my ear pierced, not the daith as planned because the piercer said that he thought that area on my ear wasn't pronounced enough and besides he didn't have any jewellery for it, so i got my conch done instead, wish i'd gone for the rook but at least i've got experience with a conch before haha, and then we went shopping in this really cool building made up of little independent stores, i bought a bag with 'my neighbour totoro' on it and a necklace and some socks, then we went round the proper shopping centre but there wasn't much there so we went to the mcdonalds nearby for our dinner :) felt very fat afterwards but i'm sure i walked off the 1000000+ calories i amassed there just going around primark lmao..

seriously tired now though, glad i'm at home and i'm ready to write!
