Hey little train, wait for me, I was held in chains but now I'm free, I'm hanging in there, don't you see, in this process of elimination
"No story lives unless someone wants to listen. So thank you, all of you. Thank you for queuing for the books all those years. Thank you for camping out in a wet Trafalgar Square. And you know what...I know there are people all over the world right now, waiting in cinemas for the film to start, but Dan has already said it: the stories we love best do live in us forever. So, whether you come back by page, or by the big sceen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home." - JK Rowling

Used to be one of the rotten ones, and I liked you for that. Now you're all gone, got your make up on and you're not coming back. Bleaching your teeth, smiling flash, talking trash, under your breath, bleaching your teeth, smiling flash, talking trash, under my window..Park that car, drop that phone, sleep on the floor, dream about me
also i'm rereading harry potter
ysee i couldn't sleep on saturday night i was just wide awake and i felt quite nervous but idk why so i got out harry potter and the philosopher's stone and just started to read it..i love rereading books but especially harry potter ones because it's like going back to childhood it's like putting on a comfy pair of shoes or drinking a cup of hot chocolate it's soothing and reassuring because i know the words inside out and i'm really enjoying it
i forgot how magic harry potter can be i know that sounds silly but it's like going to another world

I thought I knew myself somehow you know me more I've never known this never before you're the first to make out whenever we argue I don't know who I'd be if I didn't know you

You want to make me sick you want to lick my wounds don't you baby you want the badge of honour when you save my hide but you're the one in the way of the day of doom baby if you need my shame to reclaim your pride
i'm actually quite enjoying 'fifty shades of grey'..i mean it's the sort of thing i read kind of but as i've established i didn't realise that it had such a strong bdsm element so it was a bit more yknow hardcore (lol) than i was expecting it to be but i don't really mind it's actually quite interesting in its own way
i just find it strange that it's become like a phenomena..the content is quite graphic and i know that like erotic romance fiction has been around for years and i know that loads of women read it but the writers never really get any acknowledgement so when i saw the writer on lorraine one morning i thought it must be tame and they were exaggerating how naughty it was
but they weren't. it's pretty naughty. there's a room of pain.
still i quite like it haha..i have like one friend that would probably enjoy it so i might reccomend it to her but the rest would be like 'omg i can't believe you!!' if they knew i was reading it

ebooks are such a rip off on ibooks the two other books in the fifty shades trilogy are £4.50 each and i bought them both as paperbacks today for £3 each i mean why is it more expensive for it to be on an iphone? it just doesn't add up

I learned the hard way that they all say things you want to hear and my heavy heart sinks deep down under you and your twisted words your help just hurts you are not what I thought you were hello to high and dry
i forgot about this book! i read it years ago and i read ella enchanted at the same time i much preferred this one it was like a proper fairytale..i need to buy a copy and reread it
that said, 'ella enchanted' made an awesome film that i need to watch again soon as childish as that may sound haha

And I'm here to remind you of the mess you left when you went away it's not fair to deny me of the cross I bear that you gave to me you you you oughta know
i know this sounds crazy but i'm probably going to actually read tacitus and suetonius when i've finished college..when i read the prescribed sections i find myself reading on and looking in the index for people they refer to just to find out what happens to them next so i figure it would make sense to just read the whol thing and enhance my knowledge on the subject
of course it will come about a month too late considering my exam is at the end of may and i finish for college at the end of june, but i'll do it for me haha.
besides some of the stories are really interesting, as a rule i'm generally more interested in the mythology or greek side of classics but the romans were just so messed up that their personal lives were fascinating with so many twists and turns..i can see why it makes a good tv show or a good novel you know because some of it sounds like it shouldn't be real..but it is
i just wish that things like provinces and frontiers and the senate and stuff like that weren't involved in the exam because i'd be fine haha

It was the roar of the crowd that gave me heartache to sing it was a lie when they smiled and said you won't feel a thing and as we ran from the cops we laughed so hard it would sting
so yeah this weekend we went to the making of harry potter at leavesden studios..
we had to get up really early to drive down there in time and it was a really long boring journey and we got lost pretty fast even for us..then we reached watford and we saw signs for the studios and i thought my mum was going to die from excitement.
we got there and the people..right i thought i was a harry potter geek but i'm not even compared to some of those people lmao, not that there's anything wrong with it i thought it was pretty cool that some of them dressed up as characters or just in school uniform
we went in the shop first whilst we waited for our tour to begin the shop was amazing i wanted to look at absolutely everything it was a bit pricey but we expected it to be
then the tour started.
by the way i have bigger hands than emma watson and daniel radcliffe and the same sized hands as rupert grint and all of the actors in the films seem really small because their costumes looked tiny, i swear that the most normal sized people on set were the weasley twins
it starts off with an introductory video then they show you into the great hall which is the only bit that is guided, they quickly move you on to the next bit and then you can go round it at your own pace
the sets were amazing. there was so much detail and effort gone into each one and most of it you miss when you watch the films but i definitely won't know haha. in terms of sets the highlights for me were the boy's dormitory, the gryffindor common room, umbridge's office and the potion labs but all of them were amazing
outside they sell butterbeer which was all right but a bit sickly. the knight bus is outside and you can stand on it but you can't go in it but i didn't mind haha i had my picture taken on it anyway you can also see privet drive (squee), godric's hollow and the hogwarts bridge plus all of the wizard chess pieces i liked looking at all of these things, again the detail is really amazing but it started raining so we moved on pretty quickly
the next bit was all the animatronics and make up effects..some of this was actually quite morbid haha they had all the 'dead bodies' of the actors and dobby's dead body in a case, complete with bloodstain not to mention voldemort in foetal form. but they were amazing too they were all really lifelike it was also the section with the animals like buckbeak (so realistic), the dragons heads, the dementors (only a foot tall in real life haha) and the thestrals..again they were all really amazing pieces of work
then it was diagon alley.
right. one of the best bits of the day. it looks exactly like it does on the film. the shop windows are ridiculously detailed and they look like you can just wander inside and start shopping i think my favourite window was the ice cream parlour because it looked so sweet and the colours they used were really fitting for the shop
following this was the set design section and artist's concept, i'll admit i wasn't so interested in this bit but the paper models were pretty good and some of the paintings were beautiful
i thought that the tour was wrapping up then because it went all dark and there were signs for fire exits but it wasn't
i turned a corner and there was hogwarts
the paper model they used to film and it was literally a 'wow' moment because it looked like a real castle, it was fucking amazing and the effort that must have gone into it..it was one of those things you could look at all day from every angle. there were even little people in the grounds! it was brilliant and the way it was set up so you came around the corner and just saw it like they do in the first film just made it even better
the last bit was where all the wands were kept for all the people involved in the films. it was really fun looking for all the familiar names, by the end of it we found daniel radcliffe's, rupert grint's, emma watson's, kenneth branagh's, alan rickman's, timothy spall's, michael gambon's, ben shepherd's (TV presenter i love haha), bonnie wright's, tom felton's, and a few others i can't remember oh and we found jk rowling's too
i bought a ravenclaw scarf, some badges and some chocolate from the shop and i was really pleased and giddy as we left all i wanted to do was talk about it
all in all it was a brilliant fascinating day and i'm so glad i went i'd love to go again the only down side was the other people on the tour because some of them were so rude, they'd walk into pictures you were taking and stand in the way of the sets for ages but that aside it was still really really good one of the best weekends i've had in a long long time

I let it fall my heart and as it fell you rose to claim it it was dark and I was over until you kissed my lips and you saved me
i've been busybusybusy for the past few days for obvious reasons
i went to see the hunger games on saturday and it was sososososo good, i thought it was a brilliant adaptation of the book and jennifer lawrence was great as katniss. i LOVE josh hutcherson and i loved him especially as peeta, there were some really lovely scenes in the film. i felt so tense whist watching it it was kind of exhilirating and i just loved it i'm going to see it again w/ my brother this time and i can't wait
overall i think they did a great job with the film it was worth the wait and i just want to see the next film now straight away
i'll talk about pompeii in other updates, there's a LOT to say

And I remember the day when you left for Santa Monica you left me to remain with all your excuses for everything and I remember the time when you left for Santa Monica and I remember the day when you told me it's over
right well i finished reading mockingjay last night and i don't know how to handle it i totally have mixed feelings about it, i felt like something wasn't concluded but i'm not sure what? i was a bit destroyed by one event in particular and i felt like gale's ending wasn't right, and it ended far too quickly, but apart from that..yeah i've been completely emotionally and mentally drained and i don't really know what to do with myself haha..
which is a bit over the top i know but i found i got really emotionally involved in the book and i can't decide if that's a good thing or not
