my grandparents have come over for tea

they don't live near us so we don't see them often just a couple of times a year but this is the first time in about three years that they've actually come to us they normally come up here so my grandmother can see her sister or her friends but they don't come to see us for some reason

so this is quite an unusual event

i'm just quietly writing the next chapter of 'star rising' alone in the living room trying not to feel a bit awkward haha
